Plastic is one of the most dangerous things for our environment, especially for the oceans. It destroys the habitat and the livelihoods of so many people and animals. That has to stop! Meanwhile many recognize this massive problem with plastic, and try to diminish the wastage of plastic, but that's still not enough: huge plastic islands float in the oceans and often animals, like fish or turtles confuse plastic with food and wound themselves heavy or die painfully. Also the plastic soils our drinking water and entire landscapes. It's really dangerous for all living creatures around this world . One big problem are the "single use plastic bags" in stores. It's handy when you forget your own bags, but not necessary. These bags are often very thin and tear after one use. Then you can just throw them away and often these plastic bags are not recycled or find their way into the environment.

With this petition I want to achieve, that all retailers using these bags, charge a little fee for them. This little fee led in these countries which initiate this to a less plastic wastage, for example in Germany: since H&M has charge a little fee for the plastic bags, the usage is less than 50%! That's possible here too! Help us with your sign to achieve this, to help our environment.
