Greenhill Humane - About Time to Start Following Your Own Policies and Procedures

The Issue

Greenhill Humane needs ethical leadership.  Greenhill needs a skilled and dynamic No Kill Director.

Greenhill Humane fired volunteer Molly Nicole pictured above, banning her from both shelters and leaving harder to adopt dogs without their champion.  Greenhill's Volunteer Coordinator promised Molly Nicole rules and guidelines Greenhill wanted her to follow when she was making videos of harder to adopt dogs. They were never provided, yet, one of the reasons Molly was fired is because she didn't follow the rules. Only Greenhill Humane would fire someone for not following rules they failed to provide.

Molly has successfully done videos of harder to adopt dogs for seven year.  She encountered no opposition until Greenhill took over running the public shelter in Eugene, OR

Molly's full story here

Molly is distraught at no longer being able to access the public shelter to video dogs in need.  These dogs, unfairly vilified by Greenhill, deserve to have a true record of their personalities and how they interact with people. The many dogs that Greenhill puts to death, deserve to be remembered.

The problem here is Greenhill Humane hiding behind their poorly done, and often false "assessments".  Molly Nicole stands for the truth about these dogs, and Greenhill is trying to silence her and sweep the lives of these animals under the rug, like they never existed. We think this is wrong.

An ethical, honest and transparent No Kill director would make Greenhill into the amazing community resource that it can be, but under the current management and board that routinely ignore Greenhill's own policies and procedures, Greenhill will continue to fail.
