Through the N11/M11 upgrade project, Arup (the project designers) have suggested possibly closing the Herbert Road access to the N11. If this happens and no viable alternative is given, a huge amount of additional pressure will be put on the towns infrastructure. Brays traffic is already at breaking point and with a new shopping centre plus more houses planned, we need solutions rather than additional restrictions being placed on traffic entering and leaving the town. This petition is to let both the Wicklow County Council and Arup know that we cannot accept a plan that makes traffic in Bray Town worse and cuts off an entire section of Bray from the N11. This issue needs to be fully addressed in any plans signed off by Wicklow County Council and presented to the public.
