Whether you knew beforehand or not, Great Valley has shortened our Thanksgiving break from its usual and precedented full school week off to a short 3 day break covering Wednesday to Friday.  This should not stand, being one of our few only real breaks in the entire school year, which should not be shortened.  There's no real negative to adding another 2 days at the end of the school year.  I'm sure most people will agree with me that a needed break during the school year is much more beneficial to the students of Great Valley than 2 more days of summer.  Rather than whittling down our time to take a break from the stress of school, we should be granted time to play and be away from the struggles of school.  We ask that you listen to the Great Valley community and re-establish Thanksgiving Break as a week-long event.
