In certain countries consumers are made consciously aware of the choices they make upon buying certain products such as tobacco. It is in the interest of this petition to provide similar consumer reminders on meat packaging at butchers, groceries, and at any place where animal meat is sold. 

Often the average shopper is confronted with many ethical choices. Ethics and environmental issues are passed down on to the buyer to chose what is right for them. The liberty of choice should be more conscious to consumers of animal meat products. 

Industrialization has civilian populations too removed from the sources of their food. Mass animal farming also carries negative environmental impact, contributing to air and water pollution. Not only does the meat industry take the lives of billions of animals, they also add to our environmental collapse.  

It is the call of this petition to include labels on meat packaging to remind consumers of the unfortunate facts of factory farming. Labels will be printed with graphic images much like the smokers lung of tobacco product labeling abroad. Do not dismiss the animal lives taken to support human life, currently it is too easy to forget.
