I am a resident of Butler, PA and a proud parent to three cats. One was found through the cat distribution system while the other two were rescued. These feline companions have not only improved my mental health but also ignited in me a desire to make a difference. Now, I want to extend this life-changing opportunity to others by opening up a cat rescue center across from our local library.

However, current zoning coordinates stand as an obstacle between us and this noble cause. The building we've identified is perfect for our needs and located in an area that desperately requires such services.

According to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA), approximately 3.2 million cats enter U.S animal shelters nationwide every year - many of which could be saved with more resources like ours at hand.

Our proposed rescue center would not only provide shelter for stray cats but also assist residents with finding their perfect friend(s.)
