Rugby train station has a large number of commuters into London and Birmingham travelling everyday, but it does not allow a Network Railcard. With the cost of living going up and up it is vital that Rugby residents have the same option as Northampton, Milton Keynes, Bletchley and beyond. Please sign to demand the right to use a Network Railcard so a much needed discount can be applied to our journeys! We need to act now before prices rise again and the opportunity to commute becomes impossible for so many people. Avanti West Coast and The Department Of Transport needs to add this crucial option for train users.

Here are the current off peak return train fares going to London Euston (with a Network rail card) October 2023;

Rugby: £39 

Northampton: £25.25

Bletchley: £15.50

Coventry: £39.00 (Coventry is 13 miles away from Rugby station)

Avanti West Coast has said the decision lies with The Department of Transport so I have contacted them (15th October 2023) There should be an update 20 days from then. Please share this petition to get our signatures to 1000!
