My name is Carleigh H. McCracken. I am 18 years old and I am the president for TPUSA at Allan Hancock community college. I am currently working to have more American flags present on my beautiful campus. I am doing this because I hold a great respect for the men and women who serve our great nation every day. They serve so I can go to college, sleep peacefully and proclaim my faith and love to God publicly. We are one nation under God, the flag is not a conservative or republican stamp. It is a beacon for all Americans who are born and legally come here. It is important how this came to be and to remember all those who fought leading up to July 4, 1776 to sever ties with the monarchy of Great Britain and enter into a representative democracy state. I hope do spread positive change and the love of God in my years as club president. 

To honor our country is to remind our students and community of the privilege we have to be who we are today as a great nation.
