The Russian invasion of Ukraine is entering its sixth day today. Innocent civilians are getting hurt and losing their lives. I'm afraid for my family. I want to urgently bring them over here to keep them safe.

Can you email the Immigration Minister, Alex Hawke, and ask him to announce numbers for special intake visas for Ukrainians?

I was heartened to hear Prime Minister Scott Morrison's swift promise to accept a special intake of refugees on top of the existing annual humanitarian allocation. But, we need clear numbers and pathways to bring our families here.

With the airports destroyed and airspace closed, we need the government to clearly outline how Ukrainians can leave their country to come to a safe haven.

Right now, the east coast of Australia is facing deadly weather conditions and still bracing for more storms. My heart goes out to all those impacted, and I'm grateful for everyone's support through this scary time.
