My husband and I have been living in Australia for nearly 8 years now along with our daughters. This is home for us. But our families still live in Ukraine which will always stay our other home in our hearts. It's painful to watch what's unfolding in our country right now.

I am scared for my parents who have just recovered from COVID-19 only to be caught in a war zone. I'm afraid for my mother-in-law who is sick. We need Australia not only to commit to increased intake of Ukrainians, but also find a way to safely bring them here, and time is running out.
