Rhonda Orchard started this petition to Grant Reid CEO Mars and

To whom it may concern, it has come to our attention that MARS INC. is a supporter of the NFL whom are the employer of Michael Vick, convicted dog fighter/   Admitted Animal abuser/ animal killer. We feel this is an extreme conflict of interest, in light of the fact that MARS owns multiple animal related companies. Mars Petcare, based in Brussels, spans 50 countries and includes some 50 brands, with billion-dollar brands such as Pedigree, Whiskas, and Royal Canin, as well as Nutro and Sheba. The segment, which contributes the most to total revenue, also includes veterinary clinics Banfield, VCA, and Bluepearl.. In light of this information we implore you to reconsider your support of the NFL,. As you are aware there are multiple online petitions in regards with over a half million signatures. Mars will undoubtedly sustain a financial loss, and loss of customer base due to this conflict. Again, please make the only ethical choice and suspend your contributions to the NFL as it is unethical for a company that prides itself on Animal care products to  also support a company that is now honoring Michael Vick convicted dog fighter   /.Admitted animal abuser/killer.
