my name is Chloe and I’m a survivor of ‘sexual penetration’ which should just be called rape, as it is. I’m also a law student, daughter, ex-international athlete, sister and multiple suicide attempt survivor. I’ve also suffered previous sexual assaults and didn’t speak up because I was too scared to ‘ruin’ lives. That was the worst lie I ever told myself.

The same year I put my school uniform on for the last time, is the same year this monster took 7 years from me.

i have battled and fought and pushed for ‘justice’ but this is so much bigger than me. I need YOUR help, I need to not let this have happened me in vain. I need victims to know someone cares.

its not about me anymore this is about every single person who has faced an injustice and been treated like their on trial. For people who have had concerns and been brushed off.

i made a vow to myself that day that I won’t let people go through what I did where I can; the judge even apologised for how long the process took & no one on either side had any answers for him.

I was attacked at 18 and sexually penetrated by an old man who was supposed to drop me home in a taxi. He did not do that. He was sentenced to 4 years, half on license for TWO COUNTS. I’ve waited 7 years for court and believe change is needed to:

•  The sexual offence register access for the public; meaning a first name and photo would be used to make the general public aware of who’s in their area (this is not doxing)
• no time limit on those who sign the sex offenders registry (Bryan signed for 10 years - it’s incomprehensible if I myself or others are lifelong victim why sex offenders aren’t lifelong offenders on the list is outdated and lacks protection for the public)
• Expedition of criminals in sexually motivated crimes.
• All taxi/private transport to have CCTV/dashcam (I was UNCONSCIOUS not just ‘drunk’
• If a defendant does not plead guilty until the last very moment the 1/3 sentencing should be voided. (He tried to plea to a lesser count first how this is seen as the earliest opportunity is wrong)

I've served 3 times what he got already. I demand change and I demand the right to know the predators who may be our neighbours. Please support me and my healing journey by singing my petition.
