Assemblymember Phara Soufrant-Forrest and I will hold a press conference on Monday, Aug 28th.  If anyone is available during the day and can come out to support the urging of Governor Hochul to sign the bill Mel's Law please contact me for the logistics.  We need to stand together in our ask to sign this bill that was overwhelming passed in both Assembly/Senate with no objections.  Our children's life mattered and their hard work must be recognized by awarding a Posthumous Degree for student's whom lives are cut short.
