MEL'S LAW is about all our children/loved ones taken too soon. Gun Violence/Violence is erupting throughout our communities and schools. Some of us received the devastating news and was faced with switching from thoughts of  planning a graduation to a funeral. Those students still deserve their degree. On May 22nd,  from 10am to 4pm, I will meet with legislators to ask for support to pass the bill.  If you are are  in the Albany area and would like to sit and meet with legislators to push for A4942/S535 please contact me directly by 8pm THURSDAY, MAY 18th, so I can put your name down on the list for meetings.  Again, thank you all for the signatures and comments of your own stories. The petition and comments will be shared with all the legislators in Albany in the Assembly and the Senate.  Your name will be seen and your story will be read.
