I am a parent, just like many others, who believes that it is crucial to be part of the process when changes are being made in the educational system. When decisions that directly impact our children are being made, we need to be able to understand and contribute to these processes. The upcoming changes in the Pathways process are of particular concern. Currently, parents are given insufficient time to fully comprehend the implications of this process, and what it might mean for our children's education. This is not sitting well with us. Education is a partnership between schools, students, and parents. To make this partnership work, every party needs to have a say, feel heard, understood, and included.

It's of utmost importance that we, parents, are granted more time to grasp the Pathways process before any changes are made. This will enable us to provide meaningful input in the process and be part of the decision that shapes our children's educational future.

The current timeframe doesn't allow for this. It doesn't allow for a well-rounded, collaborative decision-making process. We believe that by extending the timeframe and allowing parents to have a comprehensive understanding and a say in the Pathways process changes, we can achieve a more effective and inclusive decision-making process.
