Grant Non-Resident Access to Queen Creek Aquatic Center

The Issue

My family, like many in San Tan Valley, Arizona, has eagerly anticipated the construction of the Queen Creek Aquatic Center for the last two years. However, we recently came to know that as per current guidelines, only residents of Queen Creek or their guests are allowed to utilize the facilities. The constraint of needing a Queen Creek resident to sponsor the entry of non-residents limits access to just two people per day.

Being classified as non-residents does not lessen our enthusiasm or the ability to appreciate the magnificent, leisurely experience this state-of-the-art facility provides. We propose paving the way for non-residents to gain access to the Aquatic Center, even if this means introducing a non-resident fee. A community should not be defined by geographical boundaries, but by the unity of the people who form it.

Allowing non-residents to access ensures a wider demographic to enjoy the facilities while generating additional revenue for their upkeep. It would mean more families in the surrounding areas, like us in San Tan Valley, can enjoy the benefits the Aquatic Center offers without the limitation of a daily pass.

Let's revise the policies around access to Queen Creek Aquatic Center, prioritizing community spirit over administrative boundaries. Please sign this petition to demonstrate your support for extending access to this fantastic facility.
