NASA does not get enough money, and this is a fact. And before you start with the whole “NASA gets plenty, maybe even too much money,” let me state that NASA gets less than 1% of the national budget. And in fact, it is such a small amount that it has delayed the Artemis missions quite a chunk and has caused NASA to go bankrupt many times. If we increase the NASA budget by just 0.52% NASA will be able to land on Mars significantly sooner than you think, and might even make a self-sustaining colony on it and maybe even help us expand to Titan or Enceladus within 20 years! 

We might want to remove 0.52% of the budget from the military. And before you claim that we need that 0.52% of the military, remember that it is getting about ⅙ of the budget. And since we are not actively in a conflict, we do not need that much money going to the military.
