Thank you! We hope to see you soon!!!

It all started with our love for dogs! We wanted to see more happy dogs in our life and decided to open a Sniffspot. A Sniffspot like an air'b'n'b of dog play spaces. It's a scheduled visit to a private back yard, allowing dog owners a safe place to play, work on training, or just sniff around! Ours is fenced in, so dog owners can play with their pet off leash! We found incredible fulfillment doing this. We voluntarily closed to seek permitting with the City of Dover. We currently are seeking a variance and are optimistic about our chances now that we have knowledgeable helpers.
The private dog park is scheduled one visit at a time, so it's really no more noise than we would be making in the yard with our own dog anyway. We've established rules and guidelines to maintain our quiet, safe neighborhood charm and are looking for your support in telling Dover that this should be allowed!
Will you sign our petition to tell the City of Dover, NH that we should not only be allowed to use our yard this way, it should be encouraged! In a me-first world, can we put the dogs first for once?

Who is impacted:
Well us, lol. Our happiness levels have plummeted since we stopped hosting business guests!  But in all seriousness it's not just about us!! It's about the family with a newborn who didn't have time to walk their dog that now has pent up energy... It's about the mill building, apartment, condo & home owning Dover residents with no fenced in yard. It's about people traveling here who just need to let their dog cut loose for a bit after their 13 hour holiday drive. It's about watching your dog run off leash for the first time ever. It's about not worrying about dog park fights, strangers, or diseases- because we check dog vaccination records too. It's for everyone who's sick of seeing off leash dogs on public property where they shouldn't be. It's providing a safe, quiet alternative for reactive dogs who can't be around noisy traffic and other creatures. This space is monitored full time, unlike some small public parks in Dover, where people have been known to leave trash and dog waste about.

What is at stake:
Unlike many up and coming businesses, we welcome the competition. We feel that the more people willing to open their yards to this practice, the better. Our most loyal canine companions deserve the enrichment! By getting this permit approved, we're setting the path for others to open their own private dog park. Especially in NH, where we should be able to live freely and use our property as we see fit, within reason. Let's help the City of Dover catch up to the needs of its residents, by encouraging people to apply and get approved for these permits. We believe everyone should have the right to use their yard in such a peaceful and wholesome way.

Why act now:
We have a chance to show the city what a huge demand there is for this!! We will be submitting our Variance application in the next few days and are seeking signatures from Dover, NH Business owners and Dover, NH Residents. PLEASE DO SIGN, even if you aren't from Dover! All support is welcome!!

Abby H. Says "If I could give them 10 stars I would. We love coming. And they are so smart and accommodating adding some new toys and tissues which came in handy on these cold December mornings! They're so great!!" (5 Stars)

Traci B. Says "Such a great spot; very clean. Toys, snacks and fresh water for all. Friendly welcome from the hosts and a special gift given to each dog. We will be back!" (5 stars)

Sam D says "Moose had a fantastic time here! She had so much space to run, chase her tennis ball, and sniff around It's safe, clean and private, with lots of extra amenities like places to sit, a dog bed, and even a little trash can! We cant wait to bring moose back here, and I felt totally at ease knowing she was in a safe, fenced-in space. This is such a great idea! I've had my dog for around 6 months now and haven't been able to ever take him to a dog park, let alone let him off leash ever It was so heartwarming to see my fur baby get to run around and play without having to worry! We will be back! (5 stars)
