My apologies for not being on here for awhile it has been hectic. I hope everyone has heard the good news that the Attorney General Geoffery Cox in a rare move has given Ella’s siblings and I permission to seek a new inquest. We are encouraged by his decision as without it we would not be able to take the next step. Thank you all for your unwavering support. It took 28 long weeks and I convinced myself the decision would come after March 29 2019 so I was not expecting It but I am most grateful, I cried and breathed a sign of relief. Then on January 24th on what should have been her 15th birthday we celebrated with a coffee morning put on by my local community; grateful. The next step for Ella case is applying to the High Court for her case to be heard by a High Court judge as it is he or she who will grant Ella an inquest posthumously. Her legal team will apply in a few weeks time. The elephant in the room currently is funds. We applied for legal aid but sadly we were turned down, although extremely disappointing I am determined to fight on. I launched a Crowd Justice appeal to raise funds to fight for Justice for Ella : youtu.be/zT_64RfKxZw . So far you amazing public have donated over £19,000. All funds from the appeal will go directly to paying for all the legal costs that have incurred during the case and especially to fund the next stage. I genuinely believe Ella’s case is in the public interest so we can learn the full impact of air pollution especially on children’s health. Please support our appeal by sharing the link with family, friends and on social media. We need to raise £5969 in 7 days for (our all or nothing target) if we don’t reach our target of £25,000, all the funds will be returned to the backers so it is crucial. If 1193 people in here pledge £5 each that we will be sufficient to reach our target. £25,000 will not cover all the costs but it will make a significant difference. No one on Ella case has been paid yet but her team are working flatout as they believe in her case and want justice for her posthumously despite our family’s lack of funds. Thank you all for your continued support and I am keeping everything crossed that we reach our target of £25,000 in the next 7 days. Thank you so much for your pledges.
