After bringing on coach Hoss as a freshman coach in January 2019, Granite Bay High School has "decided to go in a different direction" in late March 2019. This is not acceptable and deeply affects the youth that play football at Granite Bay High School.

Coach Hoss Khatami should be immediately reinstated as coach of the Freshman Football Team.

I started this petition because...
I am a long time, good-standing member of the Granite Bay community.  I am a parent of a child who would be directly and negatively affected by this situation. I have known coach Hoss for six years, and have coached with him for two of those years. My child has been on his teams for several years.

Coach is a plain dealer, and doesn't take part in political games.  His focus is only on the youth that he coaches.  To that end, he has devoted more time than anyone else I know in coaching youth in the Granite Bay community, while working full time as a private attorney. 

As has happened in the past, there are those who improperly use their influence to personally and improperly attack others in the Granite Bay community. This is not acceptable. This move by Granite Bay High School negatively impacts a significant number of kids.  I do not know of another person who has worked harder to improve the lives of youth through football and to prepare them for Granite Bay High School and beyond.

I have no questions about coach Hoss' background, integrity, knowledge of the game, and his love for the youth he coaches. He has had a tremendous impact on my child, and this is a shared sentiment of the other parents I have spoke to once I learned of this situation.  There is unanimous belief that this needs to be corrected immediately, and coach Hoss is to be reinstated.
