Save Moab's Motocross Track!

Red Rock Dirt Rider's last race took place on March 24th, 2012, nearly five years ago. In a town fueled by Motorsports and Tourism it is hard to believe that this facility which once drew 400+ people for an event could sit for such a long period of time. Many individuals & businesses within our community have poured countless hours and money into the facility during its time as Red Rock Dirt Riders. After having so much time, money and energy put into the facility it would be sad to see it go to waste. We can't let a few of the Grand County Council members take this land away from the Motorsports community; we would only be taking away opportunities from Moab's Youth. This facility, located at 18 S. La Sal Mountain Loop rd. has been used by motorsports enthusiasts since the 1950's. After a ten year lease expired in 2016 we wish to renew the lease, this time with all new board members. We propose a full motorsports oriented park complete with a motocross track, enduro track and a UTV & Rock Crawling course. Moab's youth already have public access to a baseball fields, basketball courts, soccer fields, swimming pools or football fields. We, as Moab's Motorsports community feel that we should be provided an oppurtunity to have a facility that will also fit the needs for our community members wishing to ride.

Please, sign the petition and help us keep our facility. If you wish to, also send an email to council@grandcountyutah.net telling them you support the proposed "Red Rock Speedway".
