It is not cheap to receive a diploma from Grand Canyon University, many of us have our first experience of debt at GCU. I as well as many other students chose to go to GCU for their amazing programs and seemingly great academic support, yet was warned repetitively to watch out for hidden fees from existing students. As the year goes on I begin to figure out what these students are talking about and have become very upset with the (cable service like) support given by GCU campus operations.

One of the most upsetting experiences with GCU thus far is their new policy in regards to the parking garage on 29th avenue. Students that park on the 1st and 2nd floor that they paid for have been being ticketed because the garage is now dedicated to events. Although it is understandable why this is necessary, it is not the students' fault that GCU did not prepare for the number of people they have seen in the 2016-2017 school year. 

I would like everyone that has been affected or knows someone affected by this policy change to immediately email the school, dispute and refuse payment of any tickets and follow this petition. Hopefully, soon we will see the school make a change to the policy allowing students to park anywhere in the garage, improving the lives and relationship with students. This will be a start to the many required changes that the school needs to make in order to keep being successful and have great satisfaction.
