The Issue

Please sign this Petition to ban Fire Crackers to save our Country & the planet.

Children Are The Biggest Victims Of Air Pollution, Accounts For Nearly 5 Per Cent Infant Deaths

Pets such as dogs and cats also suffer on account of firecrackers as animals have a more sensitive sense of hearing than humans.

Firecrackers can cause hearing loss, high blood pressure, sleeping disturbances and sudden exposure to loud noise can cause temporary or permanent deafness or even result in heart attack. Nausea and mental impairment are also some of the side effects of firecrackers.

It is important for each one of us to act as responsible citizens and discourage the use of firecrackers.

A day after Diwali, the levels of particulate matter (PM) 10 and 2.5 in Delhi were recorded at severe levels of 836.1µg/m³(over eight times the safe limit) and 624.2µg/m³ (nearly 10 times the safe limit).  according to the System of Air Quality and Weather Forecasting and Research (SAFAR) of the Union ministry of earth sciences.

Please sign this Petition to save the our Country & the planet.
