*GRANGE PARK STATION REDUCED TRAIN SERVICE FROM 2018*

Great Northern rail company is proposing to reduce peak time weekly train services:

> Grange Park to Moorgate a reduction from 15 to 12 peak morning trains

> Moorgate to Grange Park a reduction from 13 to 12 peak evening trains and from 5 to 4 trains 19:00-19:59.

Grange Park passenger numbers have more than doubled in recent years. According to the National Rail annual entry and exit data, journeys at Grange Park have risen from 182,000 in 2004-05 to 405,000 in 2014-15.

We believe it is wrong to reduce the frequency of train services at a well-used train station with growing demand. Trains are already very over-crowded and this will affect the ability of people to travel to work and to balance commitments such as childcare.

Please support our petition to protect valued and much-used train services at Grange Park.

We wish for the existing frequency of peak trains to and from Grange Park to be maintained and increased in response to rising passenger demand.
