Millions of unarmed minorities have their lives cut short at the hands of corrupt law enforcement officers. Trayvon Martin, Michael Brown, Eric Gardner, Tamir Rice, Kajieme Powell, John Crawford, Alton Sterling, Philando Castile, Dylan Noble, Sean Bell, Oscar Grant, Delrawn Small, Alva Braziel and countless others. When will it stop? When it finally come to an end? I’ll tell you when. Now! We need to stop giving little worth to human life and starting taking initiative of what we do as people to each other. We need to stop being afraid of leaving the house in fear of our lives. We need to stop the harassment. We need to stop the abuse. The pain. The suffering. The grief. This petition will be the first step in making a difference in this nation by giving many minorities a chance to voice their opinions about the unjust and foul treatment of prejudiced “public servants” and come to a resolve on reducing violence between cops and minorities! We need to reinforce the actual objective of a police officer’s duty of “subdue and immobilize” rather than “violate and exterminate” by eliminating the pistol and other deadly weapons off of their duty belt in favor of non – lethal alternatives.
