Governor Wolf, I am asking on behalf of all the salons and barbershops to please consider opening our businesses in the yellow phase. We have very strict sanitation protocols to follow so allow us to prove how safe it will be to open. 

We will be 6 feet apart, sanitize all tools, chairs and stations in between each guest. We will wear masks and gloves.  We will work longer hours and see less guests to limit capacity. We will take temperatures and change capes. We will remove our waiting area and ask guests to wait in their car until their stylist is ready for them.

By not allowing salons and barbershops to reopen safely you are directing more unsafe, underground haircuts.  It is happening all over the tri-state area. Want to see a COVID-19 spike? That's how to do it!  Salon owners are smart and we can follow rules/guidelines. Allow us to open so we can take care of our families too. Put an end to this unconstitutional and undemocratic process and allow us to open in the yellow!
