Allow "Romeo-Juliet" convictions to apply to expunge their records in Michigan

Allow "Romeo-Juliet" convictions to apply to expunge their records in Michigan
The Issue
Currently in Michigan those convicted of consensual relationships with less than a 4 year age gap ("romeo-Juliet" csc convictions) can petition for removal from the public sex offender registry
but are not eligible to petition to expunge their criminal records.
Allowing people who have already petitioned the court to prove that they were not a threat and who were already removed from the registry to apply to expunge their conviction from their youth to early adulthood would benefit both them and society as a whole. It would allow those who were 18 with a 15 year old to finally have a chance to live a normal life, get decent work, live, etc. (since so many places ask about criminal history)
