Wolves in Wisconsin at one time were an endangered species. They have slowly been making a comeback thanks to positive steps being taken to protect them. Unfortunately, their numbers are still small, and Governor Scott Walker and DNR Secretary Cathy Stepp are on the path to once again putting the timber wolf back on the endangered species list.
