Michael Lambrix has been on death row for over 30 years. He has always maintained that he acted in self-defence and there are grave doubts about the safeness of both the conviction and the death sentence.

Mike Lambrix is a man of exceptional intelligence and personal resolve who has educated himself in prison and managed to make his experience valuable to others: He will be next year part of a major exhibition at the Nobel Peace Centre in Norway (link).

A clemency submission was last filed on 5 December 2014, however it has been denied and an execution date has been set for October 5th, 2017. Mike Lambrix has not had a clemency hearing in 30 years. He has now started a hunger strike to protest his innocence.
