In light of the recent Supreme Court Decision on Marriage. We would like to see our rights protected as Clergy. The Governor of Texas along with Equality Texas and Oklahoma have both signed laws in effect and Florida should do the same. The law should state that no licensed, ordained or authorized official of a religious organization can be required to solemnize or recognize a marriage that violates that official's conscience or religious belief. The bill should be clear that religious leaders and houses of worship can't be forced by the government to violate their faith where marriage is concerned. This Law should be passed to ensure the rights and freedoms of all Clergy who hold true to their biblical  and religious beliefs. Freedom of religion is the most sacred of our rights and our freedom to worship is secured by the Constitution. Religious leaders in the state of Florida must be absolutely secure in the knowledge that religious freedom is beyond the reach of government or coercion by the courts.
