Really close to 500!

Once we hit 500 I shall forward this to the GG attention the Order of Military Merit Advisory group and also to the CDS as he is the Principal Commander of the Order. It is quite likely they are already on the case, but it's important to show them that the community cares and supports the good work they do in honouring the very best of Canada's military by admitting them to the Order of Military Merit. The service members who get this honour are the ones that set the standard and carry it. When members prove themselves unworthy by wearing honours, medal and unearned specialty insignia they have broken the faith and do not deserve the great honour of being a member of the Order of Military Merit. There is also the preventive aspect of this as it sends a strong message to those that would dishonour their fellow service members and veterans by wearing undeserved and unearned medals/insignia.
