On June 4th, Governor Ralph Northam announced the removal of the Lee monument in Richmond VA on Monument Ave. Though many support this decision, there has been some backlash including a 10 day injunction issued from a judge after a petition was filed from a descendant of a donor to the Lee monument fund.
