Unfortunately, Molly has regressed in many areas due to months of virtual therapy. It's just not the same. It's hard for me to believe that discrimination against the disabled is being tolerated. Disabled adults are the only citizens who are not allowed to return to the programs that they desperately need. PLEASE listen to our pleas and open the day programs. This discrimination must end. Our children, sisters, brothers, and friends need us to advocate for them. This is my 22-year-old daughter Molly. She graduated last June from her high school program. She had plans to attend a new day program with all of her friends. Instead, she has been stuck at home for over a year. Molly doesn't understand and continues to ask for school every single morning. She had a very full and fun-filled life for 21 years but this past year has been terrible. My family and I cannot take the place of the wonderful teachers, therapists, and activities that she is missing because her program is closed. I can go out for dinner, shopping, and even travel but the day programs remained closed. Molly and my entire family have been vaccinated, as have many others. OPEN DAY PROGRAMS NOW! Our children are regressing and have been forgotten about. This is discrimination! PLEASE give my daughter back her life.
