All of us are aware of the ongoing situation in Medical College Kolkata. Notwithstanding the political and ideological differences , the callous attitude and lack of impetus shown by the Medical college administration has angered us all. The principal of the current administration prof Dr. Ucchal Bhadra has shown tremendous disregard for the well being of the agitating students. He has shown himself to be completely incapable of dealing with such a complex administrative crisis. We believe the situation could have been solved much earlier without the students having to resort to such extreme measures. In particular his eagerness to involve state machinery and the police in matters pertaining to students affiars in MCK, shows his incompetence and authoritarianism.

 

We demand Prof Dr. Ucchal Bhadra's resignation and the resolution of the ongoing tussle without any further ado.
