Nomination for India's prestigious Padma Award ( 2022) for Late Sri Udumula Gregory Reddy.

Nomination for India's prestigious Padma Award ( 2022) for Late Sri Udumula Gregory Reddy.
The Issue
A requisition in regard to the nomination for India's prestigious Padma Award.
With immense reverence, I propose the nomination of our 'Guru', Late Sri. U.G. Gregory Reddy, founder of St. Joseph's Education Society in Hyderabad, for the 2022 Padma Award for Excellence.
Mr. Gregory Reddy founded St. Anthony’s High School over five decades ago. He was instrumental in transforming many lives, almost over 75,000 students. He always said, "I used cane to straighten the lives!" It's his practice of strict adherence to legislation and rulebook, cultural standards and values that made him a significant influence on grooming learners. He helped in building the nation by creating a wealth of students who have become great scholars and entrepreneurs spread across the world.
Mr. Reddy started his career with a humble beginning and contributed greatly towards the wellbeing of the society. He won many accolades and awards in India and abroad. Mr. Reddy demonstrated an extraordinary commitment towards the society. Mr. Reddy discerned quickly to the students' needs and acted efficiently.
Mr Gregory Reddy provided free education to the underprivileged children, believing strongly that empowering the children with right education at the right time, will change their fortunes.
As our Prime Minister holds huge respects to all those who have had greater positive impact on society, we, as citizens of India, nominate Late Sri. Gregory Reddy for the prestigious Padma award. He accomplished heights in education field and deserves the outstanding Padma Award posthumously.
I had the honor of seeing and watching my guru during 4 decades in and out of my schooling days. He left us to the Holy Abode of Almighty. He is remembered by thousands of students even after 50 plus years for shaping us as proud citizens of this great nation. He received enormous respect for his dedication to the St. Anthony’s Institution. We also became acutely aware of his great knowledge and skills as well as the endless hours he worked in a determination to help humanity in its struggle against poverty and affordability for better education.
With all the respect to the great soul, I wish to see him alive for ever in the name of the Padma award.
