Right now is a tough time for everybody. We're not just dealing with a pandemic, but were dealing with the ill justice going on around the world as well. The prison systems are suffering everyday with tha corona virus, many inmates are at high risk not receiving the proper medical attention. As inmates our life nor lively hoods are important enough to be taking seriously. We're having symptoms of covid 19 and being denied testing. As of lately they've been housing quarantined inmates in population with other inmates putting the rest of us at risk. The department of corrections was reportedly suppose to released over 7000 inmates since April 2020 but only a hand full of inmates met the criteria that was set in order to be release. I'm asthmatic and also had upper respiratory complications in the past due to my asthma that left me hospitalized numerous times. Since being in prison I've been to medical at least 3x a week for the past 6 months but haven't received the proper medical attention because my issues are deemed not severe enough at this moment. I am a non violent offender nor am I threat to society. I am asking for an emergency release due to tha corona virus. I've accepted responsibility for my actions and agreed to surrender my freedom for years, but I didn't agree to accept a death sentence due to a virus. I'm starting a petition to push for my release under tha executive action and injunctive relief act.
