I'm writing and starting a petition to free low level, non violent offenders in  Ohio State and Federal prisons. I feel this way because I and many other families have loved ones that are incarcerated in these prisons that are low leveled and even some have completed most of their sentences. Prisons are already overcrowded and most of them very unsanitary which means germs and illnesses spread at a rapid rate. I fear that our loved ones are more at risk to come in contact with the Coronavirus inside the prisons opposed to being home with their families and better access to a clean and safer environment. A close family member of mine was already exposed to the virus at Yazoo city, Mississippi Federal prison by a corrections officer returning from his vacation in Florida.  They are currently in quarantine and some inmates have already tested positive for the virus. The United States already don't have enough kits to test everyone. Why not remove some inmates to reduce the risk of them being infected?
