In April 2011, the U.S. Congress slipped a wolf de-listing rider into the federal budget bill, yanking wolves from the Endangered Species List in the Northern Rockies—where it’s estimated that just over 1500 wolves remain.

Said Priscilla Feral, president of Friends of Animals: “Removing federal protection and subjecting wolves to more hunting is unconstitutional and unconscionable.”

I just signed the following petition addressed to: Gov Butch Otter, Gov Brian D. Schweitzer, Gov Matt Mead.

Stop the killing of wolves.

In April 2011, the U.S. Congress slipped a wolf de-listing rider into the federal budget bill, yanking wolves from the Endangered Species List in the Northern Rockies—where it’s estimated that just over 1500 wolves remain.

Friends of Animals is calling for a complete travel and economic boycott to the states that advocate killing of these wolves: Idaho, Montana and Wyoming. These three states place the interests of elk hunters and ranchers over wolves and plan to issue wolf killing permits.

Said Priscilla Feral, president of Friends of Animals:

“Removing federal protection and subjecting wolves to more hunting is unconstitutional and unconscionable.”

I will be boycotting travel to and doing business with your state until you stop the killing of wolves.

Sincerely,
