Due to Covid-19 pandemic the Class of 2020 has had EVERYTHING CANCELLED during "the best year of their life." From academic classes and sporting events, to trips and other social events these "gatherings" have been completely cancelled or reduced to virtual realities and drive-through collections. Current government restrictions and guidelines do not allow "social or recreational" gatherings for more than 5. Now that the country is re-opening and states are entering Phase 2 soon, we believe that a formal Graduation Ceremony with strict guidelines can easily be achieved if given the allowance to make decisions at the local levels and our governor allows ONE-TIME larger gatherings for Graduations.

We see inconsistencies in decision-making all around us. Retail stores are allowed to open, state and local parks are open, casinos will soon open and churches are now permitted to have gatherings of up to 100 INDOORS.  Why are our children, the most invulnerable, being discriminated against!? Allow larger gatherings for this milestone in their lives. Our kids cannot get back what they've lost.
