Free Frankie Porter -When the Time does not Fit the Crime

Free Frankie Porter -When the Time does not Fit the Crime
The Issue
In 1991, at the age of 19 years old, Frankie was sentenced to 228-528 years in prison. Frankie and 3 other young men were charged with armed robbery and kidnapping however, no one was physically injured. All the other three men are free and only Frankie remains incarcerated.
In Ohio, at the time of the crime, there were no sentencing laws. The laws have since been changed but Frankie's sentence has not. His first parole hearing is in 2032. He will be 60 years old ..something has got to change!
Frankie has a very supportive family, mother, and father who are still waiting on their son to be released from prison. We are asking that you join us in this fight not only for the freedom of Frankie but for others who find themselves in like predicaments. We need prison reform and we need prison reform now!
