We are asking you to sign this petition to help us end the mandates for the COVID vaccine and boosters. Enough is enough.

We, First Responders and Essential Workers, have never been shielded from the dangers of COVID. We were out there serving our communities in their time of greatest need. We sacrificed our safety to help others during the biggest pandemic of our time and now the very jobs we put first are throwing us away, threatening termination of employment if not vaccinated.

To be clear, we SUPPORT the vaccine. However, we are PRO-CHOICE. We should NOT BE FORCED to choose between our jobs and our human rights.

While the vaccine has become the most popular method of disease prevention, it is a new drug lacking long term studies. Hence, the long term safety of this drug is unknown. Most of us have gotten COVID and have developed natural immunity, stronger defenses than what the vaccine could provide. Not to mention, the vaccine does not prevent the transmission of disease.

Health is more than a vaccine. Getting vaccinated should be a choice. We should not have to choose between this drug and our jobs. Even more insulting, the very jobs that called us HEROES in 2020 are now treating us like ZEROES. Let’s revoke the mandates to prevent the loss of more staff and further shortages to come.
