Wesley Pitre it’s been long enough

The Issue

wesley was sentenced at 16 years old in 2002 he was given 321/2 years by judge brenda ricks livingston parish louisiana after taking plea deal for the murder of joesph trahan i’m not sure what her motivation was seeing how no one tried to find out exactly what are why this 16 year would take the life of another joesph was in his mid 40s i think he was a homeless man whom i really didn’t know thinking no one would be in my home i gave him a key at some point my son came home n at some point he strangled joesaph during police investigation which was completed within hour r two wesley confessed to crime it was found out joesaph was a sex offender out of texas no one has ever told me wesley’s mother what joseph’s charge was n no one w authority has asked wesley why he did this i have but wesley says it’s between him God and joesph w some prisoner being released early and the bill that was passed making parole availed after 65 percent instead of 85 in louisiana it is our hope that a way can be found that judge ricks can find away to make this bill wrk for wesley whom has been almost a model prisoner for the last17 years with the new law he’s eligible for parole but the new law only covers conviction after date of bill passing which was 2019 i’m mostly the only contact wesley has to the outside world the world has changed n he’s gonna have a lot to adapt too he currently isn’t eligible for parole until 2027 he is now 36yrs old he completed what few certifications offered to him but the prison he’s currently in is more of a prison for offenders w lesser time so doesn’t offer much more so offenders w longer sentence r put on back burner so those close to release can be schooled if judge ricks or the governor can’t find it in them for pardon early release anything we ask that he can be housed at the angola state prison where he will be able to acquire more skills also i’m made to believe that wesley has been given one of the longest sentences there r very few whom have been sentenced w such time by a livingston parish judge sure wesley is my son but if you knew him he was deffinately rehabilitated within the first years of incarseration has been able to not subcumb to the swagger the lango the gangs in fact he’s very intelligent n u would not be able to tell that he’s been in prison almost 20 years i’ve only visited wesley maybe 5-6 x other than myself and the rides tha brought me to visit he’s had no visitors i’m the only one on his call list he needs to be free where he can began his life as a man he’s admitted his quilt admitted no one has a right to take the life of another please sign this if you think he’s done enough time if you would like to see another prisoner released to become another substantial benefit to the community everyone deserves a chance i could share link to his crime but the article seems to be more informative of my bad choices than anything else  there however was a comment on the article by one of joseph trahan sister wesley has said something of a daughter of his that would like to speak to him but he wasn’t comfortable meeting w her however should anyone seeing this be one of them i’m sure you have questions as do i I can be reached mcw65pitre@gmail.com
