My brother Terrence Sparks was sentenced to 60 years and has been incarcerated for over 20 years for a murder he committed in self-defense. On January 26, 2002, Terrence Sparks was coming home and approached by two men with guns who tried to rob him, a fight ensued over one of the guns and unfortunately, one of the men was killed.  My brother truly regrets his actions and has accepted his time like a man, while incarcerated he has received his GED, worked several jobs, and has only received one ticket, he definitely deserves a second chance.

Currently, my brother has a clemency that is up for review and we need your help to ensure that our Governor JB Pritzker looks into the facts of Terrence Sparks's case and grants him clemency. It was my mother's dying wish that her son made it home before her passing but unfortunately, she made her transition on January 8, 2022, before she passed she asked me to do all I can to bring my brother home and I'm starting here asking you all to help me fulfill my mother's dying wish to bring her son home to be a father to his children and a grandfather to his grandchildren.
