Vaping has been subject to government overregulation as of late, and so has our personal freedom.

A sin tax is justified when a product is determined harmful for society.

Any hypothesis pointing to Vapes as harmful to society is anecdotal at this point regardless of the disingenuous news coverage that subtly mentions the black market THC cartridges as the culprit.

Vaping is a harm reduction method, much like the heroin safe injection sites pushed by our state and city governments, the only difference being we know infact that Injecting heroin is harmful to ones health (this is not anecdotal).

This tax is unjustified, and counterproductive. Even if you do not vape, by signing my petition you are standing up for your personal liberties that an overreaching government believes can take from you. 

This is a fight for personal liberty, and autonomy, much like the fight for abortion, gun rights, weed and so on. We the governed must put our foot down and remind the government what their legitimate role in this society is.
