Aloha! We are considering to have a meeting on December 22 from 6 pm to 9 pm. Either at UH Manoa or the Democratic Party HQ, or another venue. Dr. Stephen Kemble will provide a power point presentation on Single Payer, take questions for a Q&A, and then we will train on advocacy and canvassing strategies. The next good time for a meeting appears to be January 5, also from 6 pm. How many people would like a day time meeting? A weekend meeting? An evening meeting? All of the above? this is, of course, most convenient for Oahu townies. If you can host a meeting in Ewa, north shore, Maui, Big Island, Kauai, etc., please let me know, and I'll help to support that. If may be the case that Dr. Kemble or one of his peers can show up to answer questions. Having a Dr. who has been advocating for single payer come to your meeting is very important. They can answer the tough questions and help us focus on how to educate the public on the many aspects of this massive structural change to our government. However, he has provided his entire presentation to me for the purpose of sharing it. Any single payer advocate can take either his short version, a 20 minute presentation, or a more comprehensive 45 minute version and run through it.
