Hello Supporters,
I want to thank each and every one of you for taking time out of your day to sign and share. With your help, we're almost to 7,500 signatures. Before turning this petition in, I would really like to have 10,000 signatures, so that we can have a serious impact.
HB1567 will have a tremendous impact on our quality of life. Every day, members of our community are victimized. This bill will allow criminals who have broken into and stolen your car, broken into your business, harassed you after stalking, committed arson and those who have stolen up to $20,000 in property and even credit card fraud and identity theft to just go free with zero form of accountability within hours of being arrested.
I cannot stress enough how important it is that we get as many people to sign this petition as well as to write or call the Governor's office to ask him to veto HB1567.
I would like to bring attention that the Honolulu Police Commission announced that they have four finalists.

Also, Sen. Kurt Fevella will be hosting a rally at the State Capitol Tomorrow, May 17th from 4:30PM to 6PM against HB1567!
The news as of late is a constant slideshow of crime afflicting our community. For example, in Ewa Beach, three separate stores were hit...if this bill passes, those criminals would be back on the street immediately. I've shared this news story with this update.
Here's additional links to some of the most recent crimes in the past few days, since May 13th.
