Professor Peter Gerangelos has taught successive generations of law students at the Sydney Law School.

Over the years, he has been recognised overwhelmingly as a compassionate, effective and thoughtful teacher. 

Professor Gerangelos has also contributed significantly to academic scholarship on constitutional law. 

Oftentimes, academics who have made significant contributions to their areas of study have been recognised by the Council for the Order of Australia.

Signatories to this petition agree that Professor Peter Gerangelos should be inducted into the Order of Australia.
