Reject Tar sands oil extraction in Utah and in America
The Issue
The voices of the American people are getting louder everyday, but the fight is far from over. We must continue to come together and raise our voices in opposition against politicians that are selling our land, homes, rights, and lives to big Corporations like U.S Oil Sands Inc. for a profit!
Most of us by now know the devastation left behind from strip mining in Alberta , Canada. Lets say No to that same devastation here in our own state and Country.
Lets Show Gov.Herbert, Cameron Todd's U.s Oil Sands and all their investors looking to exploit us and the environment just how big the opposition is.
More reasons to sign-
Did you know that U.s Oil sands strip mine in Utah is built on native, and student lands? yet less than 2% of the funds go to students in Utah, and the land that is supposed to be preserved for the future generations will be a toxic waist pit.
This mining process seriously jeopardize the Colorado river basin, 30 MILLION of people rely on this water.
Many animals wonder through this area that was once their home, and drink from the toxic puddles left behind from old spent extraction sites. images of dead wild life caught in up in the sludge, is no rare site.
this disrespect must be stopped.
