Plastic Bag Pollution - Clean Up 11/22/14

Yesterday myself and a group of volunteers did a clean up of Pinetree Park in Miami Beach. The plastic bag pollution is such a problem and I hope this helps raise some awareness to this. We pulled out 70+ single use plastic bags along the coastline and within the mangrove trees. The park looks so much better but I hope these pictures bring to light that these plastic bags are everywhere in our mangroves, storm drains and within our water. I will do everything within my abilities to get this state preemption law reversed and I hope you all will join in the effort!
