Congratulations to the City of Palmetto Bay. Continuing on with the success of the Coral Gables ban, Palmetto Bay has passed an ordinance banning all plastic bags at city owned property and special events. This is their first step, towards a larger ordinance which will restrict the usage and sale at retail establishments. Which Florida city will be next?
